About
Claudine Solin Radford, LCSW, Ed.M., she/her, supports women and couples in the Bay Area and throughout California with the delicate transition into motherhood, parenthood, and beyond. Through a mind-body, trauma-informed lens, with decades spent deeply immersed in the developmental milestones of motherhood, parenthood, and childhood, Claudine is able to attune to the specific needs of her clients and personalize their care.
Claudine is able to provide consistent, therapeutic care during conception, infertility struggles, Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART), pregnancy, labor and delivery, the postpartum period, infancy, toddlerhood, and beyond. Through working virtually via the HIPPA-compliant, Simple Practice Portal, Claudine's clients are able to seamlessly maintain both individual and couples therapy sessions without the need to book childcare during the early months and years spent caring for infants and toddlers.
Specialized referrals are offered to clients transitioning to pregnancy-safe psychiatric medications, in addition to assessing for postpartum depression and anxiety. Claudine has strong relationships with expert prenatal & postpartum psychiatrists and lactation consultants in the Bay Area. She consults, via written consent, with all care providers, including Western medical professionals, Eastern medical professionals, and holistic practitioners to ensure a connected care team.
For career-focused mothers, Claudine helps her clients to navigate the transition back to work, supporting each individual mother to find her pathway through this significant and life-changing postpartum transition. There are no topics of motherhood, parenthood, or couples issues that are off the table in sessions with Claudine. Her ability to connect deeply with her clients and weave humor through sessions allows for a safe space in which to feel seen and cared for.
For mothers and parents who have lost a pregnancy or baby due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, loss of a twin, neonatal death, SIDS, or elective termination due to genetic abnormalities, Claudine holds this as an area of specialization in her work as a psychotherapist. She is able to hold deep space for grief, loss, ritual, and healing.
Claudine welcomes LGBTQIA2S and non-binary parents in her practice and intends to hold a safe space for non-white, interracial, and interculturally identified clients. She holds an anti-ism stance, which has been woven through her rigorous training at Smith College School for Social Work, and in her continuing education as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
